Miss Daisy Is Crazy !

Have you ever met a teacher who knows nothing? Did you ever meet a principal who offers to turn your school into a video game arcade? Did you ever experience that your school life is so hilarious? If not, read the Miss Daisy Is Crazy from the My Weird School series written by Dan Gutman.

A.J. is a second grader who hates school. He hates school so much that he told so to his teacher, Miss Daisy. Instead of reprimanding him like any other teacher, Miss Daisy agreed with him. She accepted that she too hated school and would rather sit on her couch and eat bonbons, her favourite chocolate.

Well if Miss Daisy hates school she surely must know arithmetic and reading right? Nope!

Instead of the teacher teaching second graders the exact opposite happened. the students had to teach the teacher.

Their principal Mr. Klutz seeing the hatred the students showed towards reading offered to turn the school into a video game arcade for one night if they read a million pages while he dresses up as a gorilla. Eagerly the same students who hated reading started reading like their life depended on it, including A.J.

Finally the night came, where the school turned into a haven of video games and a principal dressed as a gorilla.

Will A.J. finally admit that school can actually be fun? You'll have to read Miss Daisy Is Crazy! to find out what happens next!

Mr. Klutz is Nuts!

Do you have a principal who hanged upside down from the flagpole? Did your principal paint his head orange like a basketball? Well, surely you must have never met a principal who is as wacko as Mr. Klutz.

Mr. Klutz offered incentives to make students do normal things they hate like math problems. Instead of giving a star like an ordinary principal he offered to wacko things that probably less than ten percent of people is the world would agree to do.

While it might be that Mr. Klutz like inspring his students or is he suffering from a medical condition ? Read to see as the students will confront their principal.

Mrs. Roopy is Loopy!

Among the most boring places in the world, a library is probably at the top of the list. Well, if you are anything like the protagonist A.J., you surely must agree with that! But what if you met a librarian who brought books to life—not through pictures, but by dressing up as the characters in the books?

Meet Mrs. Roopy, who is just as wacky as Mr. Klutz. Instead of ordering students to be quiet, she dresses up as George Washington and many other characters to get children excited about books. She helps all the kids discover the magical stories hidden inside the pages.

Do you think that A.J. will accept defeat and love books, or will he continue to hate them despite Mrs. Roopy's best efforts? Read to find out!

Ms. Hannah is Bananas!

Many weird people roam the Earth and among them artists are known to be weird, but are they any artist who collects trash ? Have you ever seen your art teacher ask the garbage collector to bring the street's garbage to their house ? Now I am not speaking about stuff you can recycle but trash such as wet tissues and newspaper.

Meet Ms. Hannah who insists that there is treasure in every trash, in fact she wears clothes she made out of worn out pot holders. After each class instead of making the students throw away the newspaper they used below their artworks, she makes them stick the paper together and makes a huge newspaper ball. Now if you are anything like A.J. you might be rolling your eyes, especially if you hate art. Ms. Hannah also forces A.J. to work with his mortal enemy Andrea. Towards the end will the enemies learn to be freinds or remian bitter enemies as always ?

Ms. Small is off the Walls!

When you read the title I bet you thought Ms. Small was an ordinary, boring teacher. What if I told you that despite her contrasting name Ms. Small was 6 feet tall ! Not only was she super tall she is not a teacher who lectured about photosynthesis or droned about a maths problem, rather she was a sports teacher.

So when A.J. met her for the first time he was ecstatic becuase he thought he could play dodgeball, (an exciting game where you can hit people with balls without getting in trouble) and hit his enemy Andrea. To A.J.'s shock and disappointment, Ms. Small made everyone juggle scarves, balance feathers and do the Chicken dance ! All these weird games made Ms. Small hurt her leg. The children were worried and thought she might die! Read the books to see if she remains alive or not.

Mr. Hynde is out his Mind!

A.J. finds music broing, you would too especially if it is taught by an old teacher, Mr. Loring. Mr. Loring makes them sing the same songs again and again. He was so boring that other than the nerd Andrea and her crybaby friend Emily everyone hated his class.

Now if you are wondering why I am not speaking about Mr. Hynde please hold your hat !

Mr. Hynde comes to school to replace Mr. Loring. He is soo much fun. Mr. Hynde uses the bald principal's head as drums and raps ! Will A.J. learn to love music ?
